About Eiva
Eiva began with one simple belief: wellness should not be a competition. We built a place where women can practise without judgement, without rivalry, at their own pace.
How Eiva began
Years ago, after a long stretch of desk work and chronic back pain, Maryam Alavi walked into her first yoga class. It was meant to be simple exercise; what she found was a way back to herself.
Some years later, teaching as an instructor, she noticed a pattern: many of the women coming to class were tired of crowded, high-pressure spaces. They were looking for somewhere they could breathe.
Eiva grew out of that need. A small club in Zafaraniyeh with a limited number of mats per session, natural light, and instructors who know your name.
Our mission
We want every woman who walks through the door at Eiva to leave a little lighter than she arrived — in body and in mind. Not through pressure or comparison, but through sound practice and genuine attention.
Our values
No competition
nobody at Eiva is measured against anybody else. Your practice is yours.
Small groups
every session has a limited capacity so the instructor can reach each person.
Safety first
every posture is taught with alternatives. You are never obliged.
A women's space
all classes, services and staff at the club are for women.
Transparency
prices, rules and capacity are all on the website. There are no hidden costs.
Continuity
wellness does not happen in one session; we walk the path with you.
